Are there any mods to use weapons while in passenger seats?

I have been looking for some time, and I have found mention of an ancient "weapon seats" mod to use weapons while seated in special seats, but all links to it seem to have been removed.

I just want a mod so that I can add a seat to my cars so that a friend can shoot out of it or otherwise have something to do while I drive around, or vice versa. Does such a thing exist? I'd even take a mountable turret mod I could just weld to a car but I can't seem to find any of those either.

Sometimes there will be a mounted gun for the passenger seat, but more then often you can only add the passengerseats yourself with VU-mod. Since Gmod 13 is coming out very soon, I expect that most coming releases will wait for the release of Gmod 13. People have already asked this to the author of VU-mod fyi.

Alright then, thank you. I'll just wait until Gmod13, then.

Although VU mod sounds enticing until then- Do you know if it works with SCars or will it conflict with that?
