Bring Naval Play Back!!! - Garry's Mod

i miss the days when we got to go play on the naval play server dont you?? for those of you who dont know what it is it is a gamemode for garrysmod that allows you to build boats with cannons and cannon balls to destroy other ships. It was the french v.s. the british and the goal was to take over the oil rig and collect oil to sell for dubloons. We need to bring it back. i have a gmod server and need some coders to help me bring this gamemode back from its grave for all to enjoy once again.

I'd rather have Pirate Wars for Gmod 13 be remade and optimized.

pirate wars is fun but in naval play u build ur own ship to take on other ships to see who can build the best ship.. in pirate wars ur all stuck on 2 ships

We could make a open-source PSW and everyone could code it? We could set up a trello project, with to-do lists etc. And get the community itself to fix, edit, and make it amazing?

It's player preference to be honest but that's the old Gmod Taste of fun gamemodes. Pirate Wars 13!

[/QUOTE] haha sounds good m8 but we should make is so you have to build your own pirate ship and conquer the seas as best captain and crew??? I was thinking kmod, and ACF and the wire, bouancy, weightstool, stacker the whole lot. anywho its a good idea none the less

I think we should keep PSW as it is, tho make it better, more fun.

[/QUOTE] mine sounds like flood and urs sounds like just a normal breakship i was talking more about a harbor map not a flood map but i agree psw is fun as fuck without the lag and if we put our minds and coding to it then we can make it EPIC

If I have enough time, I am probably going to remake it with my clan. If I do this I will release it on Facepunch.

I am in the process of making a Naval Play server! I suspect I will have it complete within a few weeks. I am making the gamemode from scratch and improving it, It will be pretty much the exact same gamemode but I will be improving it. PS: Sorry for the bump but I figured it was relevant to the thread.
