sv_allowcslua bypass detector - Garry's Mod

Very simple lua script that detects cheaters with sv_allowcslua set to 1. Obviously wont stop everyone, but atleast it will stop most skiddies. Download: [url]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/19409997/autorun.rar[/url] Just drop the files in garrysmod/lua I've only used it on my listen server so [b]you might have to change things around for it to work on your dedicated server.[/b] The anticheat will simply check if sv_allowcslua is set to 1, send a message to the server, and kick/ban them. There are a few settings you should look over before you install. Here are a few settings you can change within the lua files. [b]Client and Server[/b] local NET_MSG = "testname" Change this to something different. Make sure both the server and the client files have the same name. [b]Client[/b] local SCAN_TIME = 5 Time between each scan. local CRASH_ON_DETECT = false If you want to crash the fuckers. local SNOOPLION = true; If you want to scan through players modules and check sv_allowcslua flags. I would keep it on by default but someone could go through a lot of trouble and exploit it loading each file so it runs their lua code. [b]Server[/b] local BAN_TIME = "7:00:00" Time of ban. Formatted like so: Days:Hours:Minutes local BAN_ON_DETECT = true If you want to ban the player. If false it will just kick them. local LOG = true local LOG_NAME = "server_anticheat_bans" If you want to log bans and the name of the log file. local INFORM_ADMINS = true Will inform admins when a player is detected. This isn't much but just something to detect most cheaters until Garry fixes his shit. If there are any bugs please inform me.

It would be better if you crash the player via drawing a lot of HTML panels and in the paint function make them create a new one that once lagged my hole PC. I couldn't even close garrysmod.

I've known Sykranos for nearly two years, and have known Tyler for nearly a year. Those accounts are, in fact, Tyler's. There would be no point to making a module for this, because without menu_plugins and scripts not auto loading even with sv_allowcslua set to 1, this would always load before their script unless it's injected. That said, it's not meant to be a solution to totally end cheating in Gmod. As for crashing, in the end, all that matters is that the client crashes.

You shouldn't require() every module the client has, some aren't meant to be loaded more than once and will cause crashes.

Also regarding your comment "my code bypasses it even before i saw his code" I'm only trying to stop convar forcing and attempt to stop cvar renaming if they used cvar3. I will probably update this more to use cvar callbacks or server side detection. I wrote this kind of quickly so that shit never came to mind until now.
