Working on a kinda dumb shield mod I started while I was messing with hooks and the HUD.
Shield getting shot at (early without hud):

The shield will be activated by a SENT that attaches itself to your chest.
If you have an active shield and enough armor power (combine batteries), all incoming damage will be blocked, and instead drain power from your shield.
If you're running low on combine batteries to power your shield, it comes with a built-in reactor that lets you store double the power (200%) and recharges your shield automatically.
But beware - when your shield takes a hit while the reactor is active, the reactor gets hot, and if it overheats, it - and you - may catch fire or explode.
What's that you say? Not entertaining enough? The shield also comes with a 'repulsor' that will cause you to bounce around like a kangaroo instead of taking fall damage. Really fast and fun transportation mode.
