I'm posting this because my Physical Bullet seems to be stalled( I lost interest), so here is the link to the SVN. http://phys-bullet.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ I may get interested again and start working on it again, if I do i'll update the svn. Feel free to use this and make your own edited copies, if you want you can give me credit. Video: NOTE: Gore in video is not mine, it's GoreMod My hope is someone will finish this, and maybe even improve it. If you want to see the bullets set phys_timescale 0.01 Also I didn't clean the code, but it works as is, it comes with a test pistol that shoots the bullets. If you want you can post questions, I may answer.
Your bullet was the best , I've seen. Bad , you've abandoned it
Not sure if the video explained this since I skipped around a bit (kinda need to take a monster shit) but is there any form of gravity affecting the trajectory of the round? IE is there bullet drop?

dos it work on all guns and dos it work on a shield of stargate
It does not replace the current bullets and will only work on sweps like the example hand gun it comes with, someone could override the firebullets function and make it fire these, but after about 30 bullets on my system it starts to lag pretty bad, but they disappear fast so it can be hard to hit 30 without slowing the phys_timescale. I don't play the stargate addons so i don't know if it works with the stargate shield, but it is a physical thing so, maybe. It does teleport, however normal teleports don't preserve velocity so the bullet will stop on the other side. Also this tweaks the max physics speed of the game, and can go through things(missing them not penetrating) if you are too close, it has many bugs still but like I said i'm not going to work on it for a while or maybe ever, but if someone else wants to finish it then please go ahead.
Played with it for a while , was testing the penetration. Penetration is awesome , everything is calculated great , but when in water bullets start to flow up with the amazing speed. I hope someone will implement this to all the weapons
Aw hey, i remember this, i think it was packaged with a slow motion mod or something would ricocheting be possible with this system? I'm imagining what it would be like firing bullets at a tank and having the ones that penetrate bounce around inside would be messy :v:
Yea, for some reason the bullets don't like water, the go through it just fine but when they collide with the bottom they shoot in an almost exact reverse trajectory as if squeezed back out they way they came. I've tried detecting the water but it was random when it worked. So i'm releasing for other people the continue or use as is.
