This is my first attempt of converting models into weapons so the animations are not the best.
I'm planning on making the stunstick into the (Mass Effect 3's) Cerberus Stunstick.
Great work! Although you'd be better off hexing all the models into seperate ones and getting them coded. Would work much better.

I'll propably do that sometime..
But since I find HL2 standart weapons boring and anoying at some point I decided of just getting rid of them by replacing them with ME3 Weapons, which I personally really like. And at this point I notice, [b]I've just forgotten to put soundfiles into the package. Damnit![/b]

Looks Sexy. But try hexing each model and making them SWEPS.

I found the problem, me failing at packing once again, I'll upload the newer version, meanwhile you could just put all the folders from "materials/models/" into "materials/models/weapons" so you can fix it for yourself, right now.

I'm having an issue with even getting the models to show up over the defaults, I installed the addon the way you said to in the readme, but they dont show up, and when I check the browse it tells me the models are there, but the spawnable models are all just defaults, anything I need to change internally on the files?

You could try the following:

[*]Go into the "\me3_replacement_hl2\" folder and
[*]Copy all content except for the "info.txt" into your root Garry's Mod folder which is [b] Steam\SteamApps\<Username>\garrysmod\garrysmod\ [/b].

It's okay I guess, not the best v_model I've seen.
We've been working on something very similar- scripting a mass effect rp server with a huge array of sweps using the customizable weaponry base. You should try and use that for your sweps as we never really finished.

You coud Make a Alternative model for the stun stick like the omi - Tool
Now, if only someone made this into seperate weapons... :smile:
