Greetings. In advance, I wanna say I feel that due to this community stupidity what I'm gonna say won't get understood; but you know what? I don't give a flying damn about anything, so you guys can also keep on hating and calling me troll or whatever you want. I believe you should interpret it as a gentile advice, but that's up to you anyway.
Well, so there's a thing that has been calling my attention during these last days; since the infamous update to GMOD 13, it turns out that many addons have been broken, and I see atrocities like people trying to get tons of previous weapons working for this last version, with all the effort that it takes (as sample). And therefore I wonder... why players cease on that insignificant bug who thinks he can screw us whenever he wants with those miserable patches?
Before you go and start harassing me, I'll let you know that I got Garry's Mod purchased on my Steam account (legally); but since I downloaded it from the Internet (the pirated one or however you wanna call it) the truth is that I have no problems on using my beloved addons of always, without the possibility of being broken. Everything works so fine.
So now just tell me what the hell you're doing with your lives, because I really can't see the point. Seriously... it's such a sad situation. In fact, I don't care about what others do but... you know, it's something I can't comprehend and therefore intrigates me.

For one, if you really haven't a care of what others think, then why must you drone on and on about such a frivolous subject.
Secondly, I don't think this belongs here as it doesn't relate to any specific mod or addon.
If you really feel the need to speak about this, keep it in discussion.
I don't get why you say this is something frivolous, since it's probably significant for many of us who have an addon but can't get it to work because of some damn patch. But as I've said before, I don't care about how huge can be the stupidity on this forum, so let just leave it here.
Just wanted to make you know there's a solution in order to fix all of those broken addons; therefore I think my thread can perfectly belong to this section although it doesn't relate to any specific one, because it's a huge problem (the most relevant from my point of view).
Not gonna waste my appreciated time more with someone who doesn't wanna listen by the way, but hopefully this could help many people.

You need to understand that an addon does not make the game. If they don't work, then they just don't work.
You're wasting your own time already with your solution being something we all generally look down upon, as well with it being a no-brainer to those willing to go to those lengths. It just isn't necessary to point out.
There are already ways of porting addons to Gmod 13 without the need to rollback. Many of said addons have already started popping up across the workshop.
