[b]What changed?[/b] Infected Wars 2 is a complete rewrite from scratch. This allows me to modify it much easier and to a greater extent. [b]Status[/b] Beta will be up when I get home from my christmas trip. Hopefully I will be able to get a forum or something set up in the mean time. [b]Features:[/b] Loadouts in which weapons are no longer limited to classes and loadouts but certain classes will get bonuses to using weapons they specialize in. Simpler Suit Modes: Instead of a radial menu, speed(agility) is now the sprint key, xray is the flashlight, and toggling between regen and armor is the use key Weapons: improved infected wars 1 base Dynamic ammo count drawing (see first picture) Improved spawnpoint support for maps Achievement system based off of the original Lots of guns Utilities that have unique and fun features/effects The good old IW gameplay we love. and more [b]To Do Checklist:[/b] Loadout Menu : [b]redoing to a smaller, less cluttered version that uses categories to select weapons like in CSS.[/b] Will be completed during/after beta [b]Credits:[/b] Infected Wars: - ClavusElite / Joerdgs (about everything that's not named below) - Ywa and the rest of the Mr. Green community (for hosting the official server and providing support) - Tetabonita (xray vision, realistic swep base code, and helping out a lot on the forum) - croxmeister (radial menu) - Sechs / Rambo_6 (tripmine code and other stuff) - jaanus (some materials) - L337N008 (swep model hexing) - Garry (egon swep code, and gmdm gibbing) - Dark Moule (egon swep fixing and custom materials) - Sgt. No fix the HUD right now it looks horrible

I'm not gifted in Art and UI. As seen.
Then instead of using that horrible HUD as a longterm placeholder, just use the default hud and recolor it blue

Ignoring the UI, Infected Wars was a hell of a lot of fun. It did get rather dull after playing it for a while though, but I'm definitely interested to see what you come up with. :)
It's Infected War 2 Then it should more perfect then 1 but umm...... well.... Before hud was alsome. And now it's..... Yeah. It's horrible You will fix that hud. Right?
Yes I'm trying to finish most of the work before I start the ui as everything right now is just to test the core stuff.

You could try asking Deluvas or NECROSSIN for Infected Wars: Downfall it used to be a sequel of Infected Wars made by NECROSSIN. It also had another HUD. it would be popular if it had many gamemode to enjoy.
Maaaaaybeeee we can bring IW: Downfall back online. But NECROSSIN would need to port it to GM13. Edit: Anyways. IW is a great gamemode. Good luck with the remake! :)

Good luck with the remake! :)[/QUOTE] [QUOTE=skullorz;38630057]I would gladly port it.[/QUOTE] I was in the process of porting the original IW as by the time I discovered Downfall the server was getting emptier and emptier so I never really got to form an opinion, but I decided it would be easier to start over from scratch as the code would be my own and therefore much simpler to add features etc.
You might be right, but I believe Clavus his code is quite stable already & properly coded. Any proper Lua coder should be able to pick it up.

Everything should work 100% okay, but I didn't test unlocking items, or any unlocked items that don't shoot bullets.

Good gamemode mate. However I got a question, even though you might not be looking for any mappers in particular, can I volunteer in helping out by making any official maps designed for this gamemode? Thanks and good luck finishing the gamemode :) Oh and by the way, I'm now hosting a dedicated server for playtesting to save some time for the developers, it's 77.102.136.210:27015 Come on and join, by the way the server is not 24/7 and will be on only at certain times.
