Black Mesa Roleplay is a roleplay gamemode based on Half Life 1, but before the whole Resonance Cascade. The roleplay is based in year 1998.
What happens in the gamemode is entirely up to what is happening in character, the gamemode is designed to be dynamic to the servers story that is created by the players themselves.

Here is some additional information about a selection of plugins I'd like to comment.
clearanceaccess - this plugin is pre-configured to work with my map. The plugin is buggy and hacky made, but it works.
clearancesigns - this plugin can be used to add text to the clearance signs around the server
events - check it out for some admin-triggered events you can use

I've decided to leave Garry's Mod and I closed my community as well.
As my leave is permanent, I'm releasing everything I find suitable to release.
I could sit here and probably earn loads of money for this specific addition to Garry's Mod,
but I've already earned what I feel is right on CoderHire. Now I rather wish the distribute
everything for free to everyone, rather than give it to one single person who can mess it up.

Check out other places on Facepunch for my other released additions.
I remember the server good times.
Since you are basically releasing every single stuff that you made, can we see an addon version of the computer that was on the server?

I did not release that because it was website based etc. I won't release it either, too much work to make it into something decent that can be released, sorry.
Can I use my CW HL2RP license key for you schema?
Can I use my CW HL2RP license key for you schema?
99% sure you can't. You need to fix yourself a new license somehow, talk with the unresponsive C16 support or something. I can't help you with this part.

If I remember right, your allowed to keep the original serial.cw with it, because it gets encrypted it's unreadable anyway. How else would people release custom schemas?
"Ridiculous" should be the way it's spelled on the scientist image.
I can help anybody who needs a 'licence'. Add me on steam for a free sants1 premium clockwork license.

Dodgy or what?
If I remember right, your allowed to keep the original serial.cw with it, because it gets encrypted it's unreadable anyway. How else would people release custom schemas?
The serial.cw file is restricted to the IP of the server the file was generated on.

Ah, I'm not very familiar with Clockwork, But is is he allowed to release the Serial with it or is that against TOS?

I don't know, there never been any clear TOS of Clockwork, but it's no point to even ask, because my tickets never get replied. Though if someone can get me the information if it's allowed and get C16 to tell me that, I could release the key.

He's some kind of director thingy at C16, he probably doesn't want to release it because it would mean his server would get competition? My guess.
You guys could try following: Purchase a schema rename to "Black Mesa" (So it'll be "CW: Black Mesa"), then use the key. As the license keys are only bound on the schema name. So in theory you can clean the whole HL2RP folder, put in BMRP, though still call it HL2RP, and it'd work :)

Who cares if it is? Blt950 said he's quitting gmod so the most he could lose is his schemas he won't be using (if he paid for any).

That sounds really inconvenient.

It is really inconvenient, specially that your schema will display as "CW: HL2RP".
Though it's a workaround that works until you get a proper key, somehow...
You can try ask C16 support if you think it's an easier solution, if they ever reply you (10/10, rewarded best customer service by the Times magazine 2014) >:D

After a Google search, there is a CW TOS out now apparently. http://cloudsixteen.com/tos.html
According to it I can't share the license key with you guys, and even if I did, it'd be blocked and useless.
Though in theory I still operate by the old TOS that was a white page which said "no refunds", when I purchased CW. As I never got any notification of TOS change or the TOS said that it can be updated, I believe I'm still bound to the old one - but by all means, I'll stick to the current one.
I dunno', cant' even set it up with the key I have, I've contacted support.
This is Duck. I'm going to try and sort out the key problem. It may not end up as something you'd expect, but it would allow people to use custom schemas not made by them.
I'll see what I can do. For now, don't use the ticket system, because I'm in this thread and know of the problem. I'll reply back with an update on what's going on and how it will work.

There are ways to force the server browser to see it as CW: Black Mesa even if you are running a HL2RP gamemode, done it before but you need to alter the base Clockwork files. You also need to spoof the protection system that Clockwork has to stop you from doing something like that, but I remember it being pretty easy if you had the know-how.
Long story short: Get legit key, replace files, force browser name.
Edit: If you (not blt, anybody else who plans on using this) can get a dev key, that will also work I believe. Don't know if that's changed since my old days at Clockwork (which has been a long time.)
Edit 2: Or ignore me and listen to Duck (post above me) he was a pretty cool dude back when I was around.

Yes, I'm [BA] Leon, the only one with a key right now. (AFAIK)
I'll explain why I won't release my key;
1. Sharing or otherwise pawning off my key is against the ToS and will result in my own suspension, and the key not working. So in retrospect, I'm only hurting myself with that tactic.
2. Even if I could, I wouldn't. Keys on Clockwork can be used on 5 servers exact. I don't need no errors in the morning that the max has been reached.
3. I don't know -any- of you, and how does that warrant me sharing a key?
Sorry, guys. I work for C16 now. Rules are rules. (Not as Manager anymore, BLT. ;) )

I'm not even sure of what added value that is, but alright.
Hi, I'm Monkah, the replacement manager of CloudSixteen.
While it's a shitty (yet necessary) solution that I don't agree with people having to settle with, running it off the HL2RP schema name doesn't really make a difference,-- I mean, it's within the Half-Life universe anyway. The alternative for someone who wants the namechange is to pay what I think is like a $10 fee (which I also disagree with) for the schema name-change.

Hey Wesley, you should really explain to everyone why you deserve access to the key over everyone else. I'm sure that'll be an answer which makes a whole lot of sense. [/s]

I got permabanned by Tommy on account of "anonymous" logs, that weren't even shared in the ban reason. I'm taking it up with Conna anyway.
Regardless, my train stops here, since humanity's finest joined us. I've given my explaination towards the key issue, and I'm not going to further attempt to put my own reputation at risk, for my Community's sake.
Look at all of this caring.

nobody wants you in cloudsixteen, you're like a fucking tumor
So can this not be used or what?
Cloud Sixteen is happy to offer a public serial key for CW: Black Mesa so anybody can have a server running it. You can find the key and more information at the thread on the forums.
neat
How would I make the doors intergrate with the clearance access.
