Outcast was a school project started in september by buu342, where he aimed to make a fully working survival gamemode.
[B]What makes this different from Rust or Minecraft?[/B]
This gamemode tries to be realistic. Rust and Minecraft both have supernatural monsters and they allow the player to create weapons using metals. The average human doesn't know how to to that.
Both games also have a large disadvantage for newer players, as if they join a big server, they will usually be murdered by more veteran players wearing full kevlar/diamond armor, who are carrying fully automatic rifles/enchanted weapons.
[B]Currently the gamemode is in WIP. I am aiming to add the following features:[/B]
- places to store items, such as wood piles, water buckets, and food wraps.
- Salt water
- Spears and Fishing
- More animals, such as snakes, bulls and boars (maybe sharks or crocodiles?)
- More types of meat. Currently it's universal.
- Ability to craft clothes which will make you have less chance of getting cold.
- Add guns, ammunition and other stuff, (A realistic system for this where you craft each part of gun then assemble the gun) And for ammunition its gonna be hard to get so its not gonna be a complete deathmatch server.
And a bunch of other things.

I'm sure this gamemode was posted here last year and used the same media as above, then someone posted a link to download the entire gamemode. (a leak)

Sorry o havnet Been able to make Many updates yet AS ive Been quite busy, i. Will try to get more stuff done soon and setup a test server again.
It looks like he might have permission from Buu342 (original creator) to use the gamemode. He is set as a Group Moderator in the Outcast Gamemode steam group which is owned by Buu342 ([url]http://steamcommunity.com/groups/outcastgamemode#members[/url]). If so, I'm just curious, is Buu342 still working on this or are you working on it by yourself?

No, its not leaked lol. Ive got permission from buu, buu and me are working on it, or well he said he would help maybe with some things, i havent had the time to get much done yet though.

In all seriousness, I did give him the files for the gamemode. This year I've barely been developing for Garry's mod because I've been real busy with work, and next year's looking darker. I'm not the main developer of the gamemode, I'm only helping on/off with one or two things, as well as locating where certain functions are.

SantosRP is not for sale legally anywhere.
Either he is using a very old leaked copy or he has attained a copy that Rustic stole before he was removed from the Santos team.

The only copies of Santos that are available for download/purchase are old and stolen. It was leaked ~8 months ago, then stolen from a past owner like ~6 months ago.
