Need help figuring out hor I broke ToS and Steam Subscriber Agreement

I honestly don't know where this fits, It is addon related however. Recently something of mine was Workshop Banned from breaking Steam's TOS and the SSA.

The addon itself is nothing but a random junk pack of things I've made that don't really belong anywhere.

I know the images are piss poor, but that's not the point. I'm trying to figure out why exactly said addon broke TOS and SSA. Valve doesn't want to tell me, and also told me that the ban was not a mistake.
I reuploaded the addon anyway.

Content was not sexual nor contained nudity
Content was not malicious, or could cause damage to a user
Content was not a stolen reupload
Even made the models and textures myself.
So, I'm at a loss as to how. I've asked my friends. I've also asked people who upload workshop content who are my friends. Each one is as stumped as I am. I'd at least like to know what I did wrong so I don't do it again.
99% sure someone is falsely dmca'ing basically every add-on they can. A metric fuckton of addons have been taken down recently.

Then why would Valve say in the ticket "This ban was issued correctly and will not be modified.", even though the addon itself states "This item has been banned because it violates the Steam Terms of Service. It is only visible to you. If you believe your item has been banned mistakenly, please contact Steam Support."
Just Steam Support being lazy?

Thank you. I had a feeling it was going to be GMT related.

No one bothers reading anymore. And I never claimed I stole them.

Wouldn't be suprised if this has the same flags too.
-bad reading-
Wait, so you knew you'd stolen assets and yet you point out in the OP that you didn't?
Can I rate you bad reading? I made them, then donated to GMT. I decided to package them for myself since I made them.
People should license their mod assets.
People should license their mod assets.
Like that matters. Mac put me in the credits, and the stuff still got flagged.
Because everyone is quick to hop on the "Let's try and feel good about ourselves and do something on the internet!" train, and to flag something with absolutely no idea of what they're talking about.

Like this guy.

Right, okay. I misunderstood.

Because I misunderstood a couple of forum post and then asked about it?

It would probably help if you could put a disclaimer in the description saying all borrowed content is properly licensed.
Then again maybe not.
Actually I'm curious now. Max, by any chance does this also have "stolen content/stolen from gmt" flags?
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=246247518
If so I know exactly why. Some assholes who for some reason hate me on /tf2g/ because they think I stole from GMT.

How is it borrowed if I made it? If anything they're borrowing from me.

Because you decided to say something without fully understanding the situation and making an opinion when the evidence was right there.

Wow.. Just wow.
So basically if a group of people decide they do not want you to have your addon on the workshop for whatever reason they can simply cause some fuss and this is the result?
Ridiculous.
This whole DMCA crap regarding models/code is getting beyond a joke.

The funny thing is I made everything from scratch. From models to textures. I just gave Mac the rights to use them, among other things, as well as doing some other work for GMT. So I pretty much got fucking banned for stealing from myself.
And Mac, nor GMT ever once said I couldn't use my own work outside them. Me and Mac are/were/?/ good friends. He's trying to help me settle this shit, but I feel like just giving up. Fighting it made it very worse for me.
if I could help I would, but I don't know how I could help with this :(
Thanks but this thread should be deleted and closed. It became a "blog" thread, and well, I caused it to be like that. Just waiting for a cull to come along and say 'notyerblog".

I don't think so. This goes to show that steam's policy when it comes to determining who does/does not have permission to upload things is severely flawed. This is something anyone wanting to put something on the workshop should be aware of.

Yeah, but the ban wasn't due to the fact it was ripped game content. It's not.
The ban was because the content was already uploaded and claimed to be stolen from an upload.
In reality, it "kinda" is. Because at the time I didn't know how to turn a model into a Gmod addon, so I just took my two things, changed filepaths, recompiled and uploaded.
[editline]30th May 2014[/editline]
Oh. Wow. It's more than a Workshop ban.
It's a fucking wide Community ban.

But steam should have researched into it before handing out the ban. That's unprofessional and easily abuseable.
Well they didn't. I tried to tell them, they wouldn't listen to me and, I hate to say it, it just seems childish. It was pretty much them saying "Lalala I can't hear you".
[editline]31st May 2014[/editline]
I found a fun new side effect. They won't mail you SteamGuard codes.
So I'm now locked out of my account for a year.

The Steam Community is just as big of a circlejerk and cesspit as SPUF, which seems to be a common theme of Steam run services.
The best thing to do with the workshop is avoid it completely if at all possible. The only convenience it adds to gameplay is that you can point and click downloads instead of having to manually install them. Pretty much everything else is a fat con that makes it totally useless. You can't modify addons you download easily, in the case it's horribly broken (which is the majority of the time.) All content you upload becomes the IP of Valve and there's the problem of the Steam servers with the content not working properly so you end up with corrupt downloads or not able to get the content properly.
Any addon that I want to use, I'll extract it and fix it up s the old addon format so I don't have to deal with the idiotic workshop system. Do you know how many workshop maps there are that have corrupted or unbuilt cubemaps? Christ.
Sent Steam Support my disgust for your mishandled case as well asking if repeat workshop spam offenders actually receives bans or punishments because it seems they don't after I keep flagging the same series of spam submissions over and over again. Doubt it would help but I'm hoping for the best.
In a situation like this I think it would be best to talk to a actual perosn on thier end, but as far as I know there is no way to do that.
In all honesty just reading this makes me dislike valve a little more. Stuff like this should never happen and valve has been doing a lot of stuff lately I have not been happy about.
What is also funny is the majority of people don't care when they should.
Because you decided to say something without fully understanding the situation and making an opinion when the evidence was right there.
I "said" something because I was unsure and figured a question would clear it up.
And as it turns out, I had actually read it wrong. I don't see what your problem with that is.
[editline]31st May 2014[/editline]
This situation is pretty infuriating, I don't see why Valve blindly trusts bans issued.
So, here's a list of things I found out I can not do:
I can not accept friend requests
I can not trade
I can not download workshop addons
I can't comment on anything, even my own statuses or workshop items
I can not send friend requests
I can not log into websites that require signing into your Steam Account
I can not use workshop addons
I can not login to new devices or computers
I can not use the marketplace
I can not buy anything
I'm sure there's more, but thats all I tried. So far there's only two things I can do;
Log into existing devices
Talk to friends already on friendslist

That is just ridiculous. Blindly banning aside, why in the world would they ban you from all that other stuff unrelated to the workshop upload? Do they not have a system in place so that they can take away only workshop rights and not practically disable your entire account? Or did some power tripping valve employee see that you re-uploaded the same thing and take it upon himself to step up the ban I wonder? It sounds pretty messed up either way. :/

It's a community ban. All those things are related to community, or are community features.
