Download version 1.03 here: http://filesmelt.com/dl/No_More_Room_in_Hell_SWEPs_1.03_.zip Bah, I'm bad at writing good intros to threads, so here, have this readme.txt instead. [release]Note: The models, textures, animations and sounds are from a Source Mod called "No More Room in Hell". I take no credit for those. That's right, the weapons from the Source Mod "No More Room in Hell" with full permission to release from the developers! Right now there are: - Ironsights - Reload animations, which depend on how much ammo is left in the weapon - Shell ejection (is a bit buggy) - Melee - Ammo checking - Sprinting, walking and idle animations - Particle effects from "Customizable Weaponry" - Render-targeted ACOG scope on the M16A4 (Attention - it does NOT work on many maps, due to the fact that the current Garry's Mod render target system is not working properly!) - Weapon gets blurred when aiming - Melee weapons get blurred when attacking - Dry fire - Dynamic accuracy - Melee weapons Bugs that I cannot fix: - shell ejection is a bit buggy - cannot fix it because there is no function to precache a shell effect, and the only way to fix it, is to create an Emitter with the Emitter tool in the Spawn menu, and create a shell effect. After that shell ejection will work fine. - render target on the ACOG scope is buggy on some maps - unfixable, because the current render target system in Garry's Mod is buggy and doesn't like maps with no 3D skybox/no water/is a bitch itself Controls: Primary attack - fire Hold primary attack (WITH MELEE WEAPONS) - charge attack Secondary attack - ironsights Reload - reload Hold reload - check ammo Double-click use key - melee Credits: No More Room in Hell team - for permitting me to release this and making the Source mod itself![/release] Several pics, in case you think it's fake, etc. etc. [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/gm_construct00456.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/gm_construct00559.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/gm_construct001917.jpg[/img_thumb] And a video, in case you're still too paranoid. Download version 1.03 here: http://filesmelt.com/dl/No_More_Room_in_Hell_SWEPs_1.03_.zip I've uploaded it on FileSmelt, because garrysmod.org is marking it as dangerous for no reason (like always).
Nice man! This mod reinvented the way to kill zombies, or it was the way Zombies killed players? I mean, the NPCs were so goddamn OP! Anyway, nice work! Cant wait to test on some survival maps, like the classic NOAMZ.
about goddamn time :v:
Thanks to noobcake, I've been able to fix several bugs. I've also made the movement animation prediction clientside on the firearms. (less load on the server, less shit to network) Will release an update as soon as all bugs are fixed.
I noticed the 'viewmodel lag' bug but not for a good while until about an hour or two after I started using these. They have plenty of oomph, though, and feel quite satisfying to use - good animations and sounds on the developer's part and pretty good coding on yours. I noticed that for a couple of weapons (mostly the pistols and revolver) the left sleeve is missing its textures or something. All-in-all, a pretty good package, don't see any glaring issues or anything of the sort (so far at least :v:).

I was just waiting on the permission from the devs.
Hey leetnoob, upon using these sweps, I have come across that none of them work, with the exception of the melee weapons. None of them except the m16 show the view models, some of them show the default hl2 pistol, some don't show anything. My view is sometimes locked to one direction while my body can go in any direction, and the console is spammed with this error:
[addons\no more room in hell sweps\lua\weapons\nmrih_sx3\shared.lua:292] attempt to call method 'SendAnim' (a nil value)
Any help you have on this issue is appreciated. EDIT: Nevermind, it seems another swep with a custom animation system or whatever was conflicting.
Any bug reports, guys? I'm going to release an update soon and I'd like to fix as many bugs as I can before I release.
Nice Man!Wow You Are Master on SWEPS Gold For You :D  You Can Do Battlefield 2 Sweps?
When I'm using them, if I turn around too fast, the view model shakes violently. I'm not sure if that's the viewmodel lag you were referring to. Do I need to have the Customizable Weaponry?
When I'm using them, if I turn around too fast, the view model shakes violently. I'm not sure if that's the viewmodel lag you were referring to. Shakes violently as in? Do I need to have the Customizable Weaponry? Wat. Of course not.
Well, when I'm turning, the view model shakes violently, causing it to pivot up and down when I'm looking vertically, when turning horizontally it flaps to the left and right. Sometimes, if I'm sprinting, and looking straight ahead with my fists, for example, I can see the viewmodel's arms, to the point where I can see the end of where the arms are modeled, just out of the normal field of view. Even making simple adjustments when aiming in Ironsights is extremely frustrating. The M4 seems to have it a bit less (since that doesn't have the blur, I have a feeling that it's related to that) and just as a slight shake when ADS, but I noticed it the most when using the Ruger 10/22 or the SKS. TL;DR Sprinting, turning, ironsight adjustments cause violent shaking. If I'm holding still and not really turning, the shaking eventually stops. Tested with the fists. Looking down or straight up while sprinting doesn't cause shaking, but turning while doing so does. It's possible that it might be conflicting with one of my addons, but I've removed all of my SWEP packs but this one, and CTP doesn't mess around with animations, as I recall.

I use it as well.
it sucks isn't there a better way to simulate it
it sucks isn't there a better way to simulate it
If there was one, I'd have used it
You mean how turning doesn't make the weapon turn at the same time? I see your point, but it's not supposed to be like guy with a Hollywood depiction of Parkinson's every time I want to turn. When I mean, shake, I mean Shake, to the point where I feel like I might as well be taking my mouse and jerking it up and down and side to side. My point is, what would be causing my problem?

No, I never bothered with Sharpeye. Only HUD/UI and Camera addons I have installed are DepthHud and Customizable Third Person.
Anyone have any idea why blur and depth of field stuff doesn't work for me with sweps? I can enable it in the post processing menu, but it will not activate otherwise.

i think the shaking has to do with your fps dropping it happens to me whenever my fps plummets
Here's the update, guys. It includes just the updated code, so make sure NOT to remove the SWEPs when updating. http://filesmelt.com/dl/NMRIH_SWEPS_Update_1.zip 1.01: /\ The firearms now use clientside animation prediction when running/walking/standing still /\ The firearms should now play reload and fire (not muzzleflashes) animations in third person /\ Fixed being able to reload with no ammo in reserve, and the reload doing nothing /\ The M16A4 now gets blurred when aiming down the sights /\ Fixed no attack animations for melee weapons in third person /\ Fixed the Sledgehammer using a different holdtype /\ Slightly increased the approach rate of weapon angles, which should decrease weapon "lazyness" /\ More slight optimizations to code
No idea. Other mods conflicting, perhaps?
Probably isn't that, I temporarily wiped my addons and lua folders, no dice. Maybe it's something video related? While we're on the topic or issues, do you know what this is?
bug [editline]24th January 2012[/editline] and the bladed melee weapons don't make blood effects in mp like they're supposed to

add an option to disable the toy town blur effect or optimize it because that's what's killing my fps when i use these
Got two bug reports to note: - When having framerate loss (my example was that I was playing gm_Valley and looking out over the whole of the level, causing my FPS to go down a bit), the view models get jittery, even when just looking around. If this occurs whenever framerate loss is apparent, even on lower-end PCs, then this might be itak's problem earlier. - When you go into ironsight and then back out, idle and walking animations don't play. You can fix this by sprinting, meleeing or reloading, which causes the animations to play properly again. Would it be possible for the view bob and reload view bob from your Customizable Weapons to be implemented, or would the latter not work because of how the view models work?
Did you install update 1.
Yes, I did. Haven't noticed any differences, but then I don't actively seek bugs or that sort of stuff. v:v:v
It tells me that half the files are corrupt? Whats with that?
