Professional administration for the ambitious server owner A variety of essential administrative commands such as kick, ban, freeze etc. Advanced - yet not complex - opportunities in restricting both ranks' and individual players' administrative access and general limits. A detailed ban list in which bans can easily be removed/added. A flexible system allowing players to report rule breakage, and a database storing the reports. Reliable chat-communication offering !announce and !a for admins and !help for regular players. A simple plugin system in which plugins can easily be enabled/disabled in-game. A menu for general server settings and limits. Ability to view the server logs in-game. A useful and highly qualitative prop protection (CPPI compliant!) A clean and professional, yet neat, practical and foxy design. A screen-capturer which serves the purpose of detecting cheats. A truly unique and original admin swep called "telekinesis" which basically allows your mind to use all sorts of props as deadly weapons. A neat and simple server-side music player. Seems interesting, I may test this out later.
is creating a new account really necessary for every thing you guys advertise here? the addon itself though looks sleek. reminds me somewhat of exsto (not particularly a negative thing). a few "gimmicky" features though, in my opinion. it's an administration tool with a music player and an admin only weapon which serves one single purpose, and that is killing?
It'd make me a little more at ease if the OP and first post weren't both brand new accounts and the addon was actually hosted on a garrysmod relevant website. Although it does look like a very sleek addon, I may use it in the future on some servers. [editline]28th July 2013[/editline] Also it'd be nice to see this "screen capturer" in action.

It originally was intended to be a paid system so I'm guessing the new account is to avoid drama
I'm going to search through this code just incase nothing bad is in here..Just because it was made for LemonPunch. Edit First thing when I join: Join us on the forum: www.lemonpunch.net Wow, just wow. xD
Dont download this, it`s not that great. I downloaded it for my DarkRP server, it seemed good until i actually joined. It made players able to pick up doors. The owner posted NO command to give yourself admin via the web console, it also advertises Lemonpunch, it spams the chat with "Welcome to Lemonpunch, join our forums blah blah". I do not recommend this to people, as it literally breaks your server.
Meh. Me and cmd are family <3
A truly unique and original admin swep called "telekinesis" which basically allows your mind to use all sorts of props as deadly weapons.
Just what I needed in an adminmod, thanks.
seems like someone made an half assed release. [editline]28th July 2013[/editline] to remove the advertisement, go to serverguard/lua/plugins/advertisement/init.lua and change the lines (you'll obviously see which i'm speaking of) to whatever you want. don't want it at all? delete the advertisement folder to remove the header image, go to serverguard/lua/sg_client.lua and remove the header line "serverguard.headerImage = "serverguard/lemonicon.png" i haven't tested any of this as i'm not home but it should work easyfix [editline]28th July 2013[/editline] pretty fucking stupid to make an advertisment plugin to begin with. you guys are releasing it to the public and then you plaster the lemonpunch name and logo everywhere?
Just to play devil's advocate, isn't it the same as Photoshop having links to Adobe.com?
Just to play devil's advocate, isn't it the same as Photoshop having links to Adobe.com?
i'd say that it's different. if lemonpunch was an actual software developing company it'd be different. it's normal that a company like that wants to attract users for their products, which = profit. but it's not, it's some random community which made an admin tool they use to advertise their own server without informing the server admins about it. they're essentially trying to rob the servers playerbase and redirect the players to their own community

It took all of 3 seconds to remove the references to LemonPunch... The arguments that spawn from the most non-problematic coincidences is really annoying. Fix the problem and move on.
So if LemonPunch was registered at Company's House it'd be okay?
if lemonpunch was aiming to create software (not being a gaming community in gmod) and not trying to steal another servers playerbase, then yeah.
Sucks to hear about these ads and exploits, it looked so nice too...
Sucks to hear about these ads and exploits, it looked so nice too...
Nobody said anything about exploits, and if you look 2 posts above yours you'd realize there's a version with no advertisements. The code looks clean of any obvious "exploits", but there seems to be a lot commented out when the mysql is involved. I don't think it'll work completely. There could be a fallback file system or something.
Sucks to hear about these ads and exploits, it looked so nice too...
as far as i can tell, there is nothing wrong with it other than they trying, YET AGAIN, to advertise in fucked up ways even though their playerbase is massive already [editline]28th July 2013[/editline] ninja'd
Maybe exploit was the wrong term, but I'm referring to this:
It made players able to pick up doors. The owner posted NO command to give yourself admin via the web console, it also advertises Lemonpunch, it spams the chat with "Welcome to Lemonpunch, join our forums blah blah". I do not recommend this to people, as it literally breaks your server
Though confirmation as to whether this is true or not would be welcome. It's also nice to know that you can just get rid of the ads easily but I still don't like how advertisement was originally intended.
Looks nice. How do you open the menu? :/
as far as i can tell, there is nothing wrong with it other than they trying, YET AGAIN, to advertise in fucked up ways even though their playerbase is massive already [editline]28th July 2013[/editline] ninja'd
Your petty argument about the community advertisements in the script are over exxagerated. Obviously whoever wrote this wrote it specifically for that community, and hasn't changed it before the release here. If you don't like it, don't use it. [editline]28th July 2013[/editline]
Maybe exploit was the wrong term, but I'm referring to this: Though confirmation as to whether this is true or not would be welcome. There's probably configuration for these things. [editline]28th July 2013[/editline]
Looks nice.
That's probably the result of an error on the server owner's behalf. There's probably configuration for these things.
which is what i was implying with half assed release. it does look good and all but when they release it to the public like that they should at least strip it of their configuration first (unless it's intentional). what triggered it for me was the fact that they had developed a plugin made specifically for advertising. it really made it look like they had intentionally put traces of lemonpunch everywhere to advertise for their own community. i wouldn't be surprised either over their previous attempts to advertise.
That's probably the result of an error on the server owner's behalf. There's probably configuration for these things.
Alright, thanks.
If you don't like it, don't use it.
That's a pretty dumb thing to say. You have to use something to form an opinion of it, even then the decision not to use it any more doesn't mean you can't continue to have an opinion of it.

He can either use it and continue with his day, or choose not to. We understand the point he's been berating us with.
How long before every cheat has built in protection from that now public "cheat capture" tool. Other than the soon to be void cheat capture I really see nothing that betters ULX in features. The clean interface is a plus yet seems to be massive. In my opinion its a publicity stunt aimed at trying to weave more people into a community rather than actually providing a useful plugin. It has a plugin system which like most will likely not catch on, no voting or map function. It really lacks modern features and from the post gives the impression of the old generic admin mod just made to look like it does a lot more. I've been very bitchy but at the end of the day you clearly did try to give the impression this was a dedicated high quality product by making a new account and all that etc etc etc.
Since this is a leaked version and not the final release, it wasn't supposed to advertise LemonPunch on the server, only have a Lemon on the top of the UI to show the admins who use the mod who is the author. But I guess taking it and releasing it was nice as well.

oh hi, I made this admin mod ;) this is a leak and it's not actually the very latest version heh [editline]28th July 2013[/editline] wait, this version won't even work as it should lol, it's not even the one with the pictures in the OP
oh hi, I made this admin mod ;)
Can you confirm that the released version won't have ads? Also, how did you manage to let it get leaked in the first place?
Can you confirm that the released version won't have ads? Also, how did you manage to let it get leaked in the first place?
I just made this admin mod for my own personal use. Later another person wanted an admin mod and I sold it to him and he wants to sell it. I'm not going to release this. And I don't really care much if it gets leaked lol, but i'm gonna guess someone with FTP access. For clarification: I don't run lemonpunch, I just coded this admin mod.
