What's a good editing software for Garry's Mod videos/Machinima's?

Well you have movie maker and video spin, the free alternatives. Then you sony vegas, power director etc. Machinima effects can be added mainly while in-game so advanced video editing suites arent really needed

If you're asking for help on Facepunch before you've actually even made anything, you're not going to get anywhere.

Use what editor works best with YOU, not what everyone else says. I tried FCP and other software and found that Vegas suits my needs just fine (although it is a resource whore and makes it a personal goal to crash whenever possible)

I have made stuff but i need something new to work with, cause windows movie maker is shit!! haha
