More Vorts. I did several edits because I could not decide which was better, so I'll let you decide. Also, I did some tribal tattoos, tell me if you like them or not. Trying something new and seeing how well I can do it. The shamans did not support the Nihilanth's decision to invade Southern Xen, they believed that conquest of Southern Xen was still possible without the declaration of war. Despite the shamans' efforts, their pleas fell upon deaf ears. Instead the Nihilanth believed the shamans would change their opinions of the matter if they had one of their own observe the situation. The shamans hesitantly agreed and sent Kunetuk Mu'hei as cleric of the First Vortigaunt Assault Battalion. Kunetuk's mission was for both observation and study, due to the fact that by this time Southern Xen was unfamiliar territory where very few Vortigaunts have ventured. He studied both the animals and flora. His discoveries soon led to new innovative Vortigaunt technologies and techniques. Many of the species Kunetuk discovered have yet to be named by Vortigaunt science. Though the shamans were satisfied with Kunetuk's discoveries, they wanted an end to all the violence. Under the command of Mejshrafir Shi'lutoi, convincing was not going to be an easy task, nor an accomplishable one. Kunetuk approached Mejshrafir with a notion of conviction. Mejshrafir's exile, that ended just two years before, had made him deeply resent the Council and anything associated with it. Although he tolerated the presence of Kunetuk, Mejshrafir continually plotted of ways of getting rid of him that both the Nihilanth and the Council would not be aware of. Unfortunately for him, his plans were never put to action, instead he had a small group of men escort Kunetuk away, informing him the Thoopnik had been spotted close by and they would likely hunt a religious icon. This, of course, was a lie. Kunetuk was not much of a political speaker nor did he have a reputation like most of the shamans. He was a rare addition to the Shaman Council due to several factors; He was born into a poor tribal family with a history of radicalism, and he lacked the Spark of Vortessence, that of which a shaman is born with. These were, however, ignored later. The common Vortigaunt belief is that the Spark of Vortessence is granted to a child from The Void to guide their people to prosperity. It is no wonder why Vortigaunt tribes are divided, especially after the Nihilanth's idea of the Void being "A curtain to hide our minds from the horrors of reality which creates ignorance and idiocy." This would have erupted a war between religion and political figures if it weren't for Kunetuk's intervention. He was able to convince both parties to stop, stating "If we are to be argumentative of our beliefs and begin a civil war, we will forever be divided and our species will deteriorate to extinction." Both the Nihilanth and the Council were impressed by an 'underling's' interruption with reason. Kunetuk was then granted a seat on the Council which remains to this day.
No posters yet? mmk then IT'S LIKE SEX FOR MY EYES
I like.
Also, I can't decide what should be the greater focus for these Vortigaunt Tales; the pictures, or the write-up?
Both are great as they are.
Also, also; Antlion guards have faces. Lol.

Are the tattoos on the skin itself? Either way, you did a great job on those
Beautifull Work
Damn cocky shamans.
the tats are nice, you edit them in?
Damn, that's some nice skin editing right there! And posing...and story...the whole thing is great, let's just say that!
the tats are nice, you edit them in?
Yes.
Are the tattoos on the skin itself? Either way, you did a great job on those
I would have skinned them if I remembered how, but then again there is only one normal Vortigaunt model and unfortunately I can't hex. Thanks though.
I don't like the bright sky in the two first shots.
Gonna keep this up until tomorrow night. That way I can think of something new.
I don't like how you can only see the back of the vort on the right. It might look better if he was angled to the left more (and looking right) so that you could see his head and arm more.

I like the mounted Vort's face in context to the quote. Good posing, the editing is good, and the writing is great. Good Job.
