Just a quckie, was gonna make an epic out of this but FUCK dealing with the RnL ragdolls right now and DOUBLE FUCK using CoD midgets. Editing is rushed but I'll leave it to you guys to tell me what my biggest fuckups were.

In case you're clincally retarded, this scene is being viewed through a pair of binoculars. Anyone who complains about chromatic aberration will get a swift verbal boot to the nuts followed by instructions to go out, buy some binoculars, and look through them. Anything else is fair game.
I like it. The foliage looks very realistic in terms of lighting and I like the reflection from the Me109's cockpit (although the reflection needs to be brighter in the centre... unless that's just the vignetting from the binocs making it darker, I'm not sure).
I assume the binoculars are being used by a tank commander? Otherwise their positioning just doesn't make much sense.
The posing looks good.
The shadow from the panzer's cannon looks kinda pasted on - it doesn't follow the shape of the torn up earth under it very well. Also, the intensity of shadows is kinda inconsistent - some of them are jet black and others (like under the tank) are quite pale and blue.
Lovely work overall though.
The binocs are indeed fucking with the lens flare. In hindsight, a little bit of clever erasing and blurring could probably have made it shine through a little better without looking retarded.
Observer is in a building, which is why the tank is aiming off to their (observer's) left; the infantry have spotted movement further along the structure and are aiding the tankers into laying the gun onto the target.
Shadows - tell me about it, that's how they came out ingame and it probably would've taken me at least another half hour to even marginally unfuck them. I'm not happy with them either. RnL maps are gorgeous, but the lighting gets really wonky in places for some reason.
Pretty cool actually. But a little too much contrast for my taste. Have an artistic.
Like Chesty said, the lighting on the trees looks really good, but the shadows on the ground look awkward and inconsistent. The smoke behind the tank also look pretty meh. If it's the exhaust from the tank (which I assume it is) it looks a bit too bright, it could be grayer, and it needs to be in less of a big clump and more flowing from the exhaust vents.
However, the biggest thing that's bothering me, is that the picture doesn't look like it's being viewed through binoculars. By judging the distances, it doesn't look like you magnified the picture at all. It just looks like you took the picture hovering 30 feet away from the tank, without zooming the camera tool in at all.
But enough complaining, the posing looks solid and you used the map to a good effect. For the most part the editing looks good and the chromatic chromatic aberration is good and subtle, unlike the in-you-face red and blue outlines around everything.
this is better than just about everything i've ever seen here before
great use of shading on the foliage, dude.
Other than the tank barrel's shadow, I'd expect more soldiers (or more tanks) to classify as a storm. But neat work anyway.
Me like a lot, smoke behind the tank is rather bad but the outstanding work on the foliage is compensating.
Smooth work bro.
I like the picture, and just because some people are thinking this, Thats what she said.
Plane looks like its about to crash
Because obviously no plane could fly at treetop altitude and survive? :rolleye:
Aside from its general climbing attitude, as well
It's okay I guess.
[QUOTE=gtanoofa;26162669]I didn't know lutfawe was operating in the western front. :v:
