Yea, he used to kill people dead in the Tim Burton movies.
In Batman: Returns he threw a guy into a sewer and blew him up with a bomb.
Well he doesn't use guns for two reasons: Guns are usually associated with death, and batman isn't a killer but a saviour, and also he doesn't need guns to kick some little juvenile delinquent's ass, because that's how real D.C. comics heroes are. It's usually a golden rule in DC and Marvel, with some exceptions of course, such as deadpool, but then again deadpool is half a villain. :v:

He's a symbol of untouchable justice and if he killed all the villains, he wouldn't be any better.
