I don't want to sound rude, but it looks like he got stoned and is seeing something on the bottom of that gun.
Good image if this was a beginners pose, I would suggest remaking it.

I like the idea, if you are going to remake it I suggest you watch for the hand not clipping through the shotgun, and the smile looks a little overdone.
I'd also suggest to make the image a little larger with maybe some prop placements and some other rebels in the background, or even the guy throwing him the shotgun.
