More S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
I just noticed that I forgot to give him any guns :suicide:
I thought I forgot something.

Woah, very nice, you should've blurred the background in your editing program though, sdof made it look bad
We need more tutorials from you.
Oh wow, incredible work. The camera angle really sells it.
Holy fucking shit. That's just awesome.
This is superb. I love STALKER pics.
Woah....to....much....awesomeness...
This is awesome. The perspective is lovely and the atmosphere just great.
I was about to say "nice work" but then I realized it was VMan and thought "well he already knows this."
I don't really like what you did to his eyebrows, but otherwise this is superb.
What model is that, by the way?
This is fucking awesome.

I think its a medal of honor model with a different head.

Those are the reflections on the lenses of his mask. They're kinda shitty.
And it's the MoH pack (specifically, the guy called Voodoo) with Nick's head.
Very nice.
Some ugly textures stand out but overall this is amazing and hard to believe it started out as Gmod.

Btw the camera angle is pretty much the best thing ever.
my god
teach me this nowwwwwwwwwww
Perfect isolation... impossible.
Perfect isolation... impossible.
I actually figured out an easy way to isolate the towers. I just put some pure white boxes behind them, and colored white to alpha. The rest of the things in DoF that were isolated were just by feathering the selection in the right areas.
Wait, this originally started in gmod? :wth:
Impressive. The isolation. Wow.
The angle is also the shizzle.
Nicely done. I really really enjoy the lightning effects, and I do have to learn how to use Photoshop
Ohh I got myself a new background.
I agree with Chesty tho, the textures from the pants, for example, stand out a bit but hell, the rest is fucking amazing.
That is pretty damn cool, I didn't notice he was kneeling at first to pick up the anomaly.
The light from the detecter(I forget what they called it) is superb!
The sky is also sexy :D
a minute after the picture was took he was gang raped by 2 psuedogiants and walked into 4 electro shock anomalies
I want your babies.
Now it just needs some awesome texturing and it will be 100% ace.
'Tis good.
the composition makes this picture, the editing just adds to it
that's hardly ever true
Actually this picture is the prime example of what I said amongst the flame war the other day about how composition is far more important than anything else.
Cheers for proving my point, Vdude
I came on that camera angle.
Very well made, with great detail.
Also may I add I wish I had a bigger screen to work with, 1280x1024 blows. Feels too small =/

It's too small to work with if your canvas dimensions are always limited to your resolution, as it is with Gmod stuff.
Actually our screenshots forum here is quite unusual in internet art terms in that we demand people post their screens at the resolution they were created at.
Most people scale down their artwork by as much as 50% for posting online because they work at far larger dimensions than is necessary for internet viewing.
For example, if I was painting at 2000x2000, I'd probably post it at 1000x1000 depending on what the piece is.
Same goes for people who work in pencil; 50cmx50cm canvases get scanned in and posted as 1000x1000px images.
