Here's a few of the pictures I've posed that I'd like to share. This one's of a black market deal, how I picture the resistance get supplies in Cities. I think the guy in black is standing a little funny, but I'm sure that doesn't matter to much. This one is what I use as my desktop background, the person in the middle is the character I used in a Serious HL2 RP server for more than a year, and the other two were friends. Here's how a character of mine died. Here's another characters death. A time in the above characters life. This one is part of a map-wide pose I made, so the people in the background are not part of the pose. This one is also part of that map-wide pose, he's protecting the rebel in the background. This one is the rebel in the background, as he tries to open the combine door. And, surprise surprise, he's Asian. I've got a few more, but these are the best ones.

There are many like it, but this one is mine. As for being a good poser, I want you to look at other content in this section, like a few other threads and a couple pages of the "post your pics that don't deserve a thread" and make that decision on your own.
turn your graphics up as high as they can go, even if it slows your framerate
Yeah it's actually a good start, just needs detail and slight camera work.
turn your graphics up as high as they can go, even if it slows your framerate
On a side note, if graphics lag your PC, I would pose it, and then crank up the graphics to take the shot.
You should try to use the zoom on the camera (right click). It will be better if you want to center the pose.
Everything - poses, scene and all is fine, but dude - turn up graphics and try to do something with camera
I was expecting scenes about the french resistance... *sigh*
I was expecting scenes about the french resistance... *sigh*
Sure, let me just go find a model of a white flag and then I'll make one.
Sure, let me just go find a model of a white flag and then I'll make one.
okay that was pretty good
Techincally, the French army did surrender, not the citizens of the resistance Other than that, it was funny as hell!
I don't recommend using in-game muzzle flash. If you know basic image editing, try to edit in a prettier muzzle flash (You could find one on Google Images, that's pretty common). Try to make the entire picture interesting, and avoid any "dead space" (empty places in the picture). But keep it at a realistic level. Capture or resize the image, so that the composition looks neat. Making sure there's focus on the subject in the picture. Your angles are okay, but try to get the best angle as possible. Watch a lot of action movies and notice the composition angle (I also recommend watching action movies as for learning about good muzzle flashes). Anything to build up a creative mind, that's able to imagine good pictures. At last, color correction is like the icing on top. I believe there are some basic tutorials here on Facepunch, so good luck with that. But please don't overdo your editing, as it can easily ruin a picture. Keep practicing, we all improve!
The poses seem way too stiff, pretend you are the doll. Angles could be adjusted. In game muzzle flashes are terrible.
