Alternative, dark, apocalyptic version.

Original and the proof that it's a scenebuild:

Comments? :kiddo:
I'm going to say I like the second one better, but the scene build is impressive regardless.
Good work, as usual.
The alternative dark version is great, the atmosphere is beautiful.
Shit I love that beam. The small flames really give the picture that edge. Awesome work Joazzz. Second edit is best.
filesmelt down again?

Guess so. Fixing now.
Fucking awesome!
I like the second version more than the first.
The dark version is really cool. I like the light from the fire.
awesome picture man! dont flame me for saying this, i dont know much about the screenshot business but what do you mean by "scenebuild"

It's where you build pretty much everything in the picture from scratch. So rather than just posing the ragdolls and then editing, it means you build the scene too (so they're usually done on empty maps like gm_flatgrass).
Really sexy looking. Though it's a little bit empty. Could use with some more in the lower left corner, or maybe just zoomed in more.
Still looks tight.
For some reason, I really like the way the rocket looks. And the lens flare from the laser is epic.
IMO the first one is way better, can't really explain why but it's harder to notice the repeating texture on the buildings and you see a lot more detail.
Epic. Period.
No Lacrimosa Immediate music?
Effects are really well done and the scenebuild is awesome. Great work Joazzz!

It's very overused, and I already used it with a pic. I don't like to use same music twice.
Combine both versions to one and it will be great.
Also, pretty good fire.
That texture on the building to the left is really bad looking.

Blame PHX blocks. They make the textures repeat.
Nice job :golfclap:

Just edit it out.
Oh my god metal.. SLUG?!
Just edit it out.
Sure. How?
Sure. How?
I guess he's alluding to texture overlays, like in my tutorial :smug:
:siren: SELL SELL SELL :siren:
Adding the texture overlay wouldn't hide the texture very well, but I can try.
Then don't use overlay blending.

It would if you upped the contrast enough I think.
Sure. How?
Just use GIMP or whatever you use and use the clone tool around the repeating texture spots.

Too bad that there's too many of those spots. It would be like cloning the repeating texture on itself.

Not really, it just takes a little bit more time.
Street looks bottomless.
