anyway I attempted my first muzzelflash+bullets, and the smoke is totally random...

That muzzleflash is really bad, the smoke looks like broken spider webs and I thought the bullets were sparks.

So how do you reccomend to make bullets, muzzelflashes and smoke?
Use Vman's GIMP tutorial (seriously, how many times am I gonna say that this week?).
