I agree with Uberslug, there's FAR worse 'newbie' shots out there.
Yeah blur = raped and the bloke on the front/right is a bit stiff.

But The other two soldier's look fine.

Your computer might not be able to handle AA at any playable framerate (much like mine), but you should turn it on for taking the picture, anyway. Framerate won't matter for a screenshot, and it'll make the picture look a lot better. In fact, always pump up all settings to max for a screenshot, just make sure you save before changing them. Also, set jpeg_quality to 100 [u]or[/u] bind a key to devshots_screenshot, which takes a picture in much higher quality .tga, which you can then convert to .png or 100 quality .jpegs
Can't find much to fault about the 2 side soldiers' posing, but the centre one's legs look rather odd, and it seems his arse is too far into the tank itself. Put a little bend in his knees, pull him slightly out of the tank, and perhaps have him holding the rifle in a different way, for example have it lying on his lap. In my opinion he'd look better that way.
The environment is rather uninteresting, perhaps add more infantry, trees, grass, maybe debris like destroyed German tanks? There's many good looking maps out there, take some time to look for them, it'll pay off greatly (I myself have got a whole bunch of maps, haven't even used them all yet)

To be honest. It really isn't all that bad.
Really the only thing that it needs is the removal of the blur rape, a bit better posing on the front guy, and maybe a less empty map.
