I don't understand what is going on.
They drop down to give him a lift out of a zombie filled town, but then they just decide to shoot him?
And what does he mean by "again"
Does that mean he was betrayed BEFORE in a situation like this?

I think the guy that was rouge was supposed to help him, and i think they sometimes have nearly lifted him but left him, hence the "not again"

Sorry, OP, but the story for that comic absolutely sucked. Why? Because they could more easily have simply left him to die than pretending to pick him up, radioing to command that they were gonna pick him up, then shooting him.
