I should have fixed that.
I like it.
Yes, that smoke looks like shit. Trees and rebels need more detailed shading. And the edges of the trees on BG could be more blured@bloomed. Snow is ok.
I luv u chesty  n stuff
I wish the rebels in hl2 wouldve looked a bit more diverse, like some of them using combine armor like in the picture, or wearing a mix of citizen clothing and armor made of scrap

The jeans and green/blue long-sleeve shirt is like a uniform. It's a bit odd.
The standard citizen outfits are like a uniform, though. But it doesn't really make sense how they don't have any other clothes apart from those. If Alyx and Eli and Odessa can find different clothes, it'd make sense to have citizens wearing something other than their blue shirts and jeans. Lovely picture, though.
Nice snow mate.
Needs more atmosphere, man. It feels so bland at the moment. You could have added a sort of soft glow to the sun that seeped over the trees and the chopper. And the snow looks pretty lackluster, just a bunch of shapeless white blobs (that all look like they are falling straight down, no less) It also doesn't look like it's snowing past the helicopter (snow would create a much more intense fog that would drown out the trees and sky) And yea, you definitely should have fixed up that smoke. Wouldn't have been too hard to do either. Shading on the civvies is good, but perhaps a bit too subtle.
I would add some snow pile ups on the trees cause the snow's like not fitting to this pic i think [editline]2nd April 2011[/editline] i mean the snow edit's nice and all, but the environment of it is kinda not fitting
[QUOTE=gtanoofa;28953018]No, it's completely wrong. They are in an open ground with a lot of sources of lights, yet they seem to have shadows like they are inside a room with a couple of lights pointing at them. If you wanted to make them look like they really are there then you should have make their clothes and skin a little bit darker rather than burning them. It's pretty cool looking despite that.[/QUOTE] :what: [editline]3rd April 2011[/editline] Thanks for all the critiques that actually make sense though.
