I thought it was pretty good and therefore decided to record it. After quite a bunch of time testing out some methods with the diagonal pistons and the wheel-holders, it all seemed to work out. I was rather inspired by the old trains such as Der Adler and The Rocket.
I was building this on an online server, so it was pretty hard to drive hell, even build this thing without getting bashed around with props.
The pistons are driving the train. I used a single thruster with the force of 30 to push the train a little bit. This made the pistons start going and eventually got the train into speed.
I would definitely have added some sounds to it, but the server was vanilla. It was actually pretty fun going back to the vanilla stuff and leaving the addons out.
Oh, and don't mind the music. I'm on this pretty new computer which still doesn't have a lot of music / background music installed.
Extremely blocky with floating props and a seat, and you suck at filming.
However, it has moving pistons. THAT IS ENOUGH FOR ME.
Might've looked better with a bigger boiler/tank/etc.
too narrow, it's floating, tiny wheels look weird, tiny boiler, etc. Just doesn't seem thread worthy.
As I said, it's inspired by the old trains such as Der Adler and Rocket. Those trains were exactly small and narrow.
About that floating seat...
