Maybe a bit too much film grain.

The pose/prop placing was pretty awesome, I like the editing style a bit but damn, there is too much grain.

I think you've recreated the scene very well. Posing is great and editing just makes it that much better. I think it could be argued that perhaps there is too much noise - this is my only gripe.

Yeah, there's really no way we could have found a map that looks like Iwo Jima, so it doesn't really matter. That's also not the point of the picture, so :p to whoever gripes about the placement.

I mean, you come out of the landing craft and like 10 steps forward you were into jungle. The beach was mainly coral, I think. Don't let this detract from the screenshot you have made, however.
