that ripple doesn't blend in at all.
you could have used liquify to move the water around a little bit and make it contort to the image + use a separate layer for added shading.
He's standing not walking. How do I know? Because there are no riples around his legs, which means he hasn't been moving for a while

Anyways, the ripple does look a little awkward and it really distracted me from looking at the amazing posing on the Soldier
