Yep. I read in a review that said they had different teams working on seperate Episodes. Each should be done in like 2-4 months though valve is known for extending there dates. One question though? does alyx die because it seems to me she falls off a cliff, and if she did die this early then they'll just start killing main charcters more.

Do you mean does she die in episode two if yeah she does die but gets revived from the vorts.
Nope, they have 2 Producer Teams, they work sync in it.

Ep 2 comes out probably end of the year and Ep 3 end of next year, or sooner.

Who said she gets revived? They show a vortigaunt carrying her body, nothing more. They might be having a funeral or something... :D
