Noob Elevator Death Machine - Garry's Mod

It's an easy trap that you can set up in your server. All it requires is an elevator and a turret. [IMG]http://filesmelt.com/downloader/Elevator.jpg[/IMG] Next, we have a turret placed high above the elevator. [IMG]http://filesmelt.com/downloader/Turret.jpg[/IMG] We then put Hyraulics set under the elevator and have it set to 0. We then place a button in the elevator titled: PRESS ME!" and set the button to trigger 0, the same as the turret. [IMG]http://filesmelt.com/downloader/PRESS_ME!.jpg[/IMG] Once were done with that, the elevator will begin to rise up to the turret, which is firing, and the noob will be killed [IMG]http://filesmelt.com/downloader/Turret_Firing.jpg[/IMG]

What happens if the person jumps out? What happens if prop protection is enabled and they can't press the button? What happens if you don't have Portal? What happens if they found out that "PRESS ME" and "Do not Press" contradict?

If they don't have portal then they could use the blast doors. Then they wouldn't be noobs

How fast is the elevator moving? It'll probably kill anyone before it even gets to the top by sheer physics.

To be honest not so great... and killing annoying people just lets them respawn. Trick them into getting into a pod, strip their weapons with the adv. pod controller and then trap them in a box. That would be more fun. Anyway, look at the other contraptions in the forum, should give you an idea of what sort of thing to post.

It's funny that only minges think of ways to kill minges.

I would look up, say "What's the point.", see the turret, noclip up, spawn a small prop, change colour to transparent and place it infront of the turret. Problem solved.

Why is the turret on a hydraulic/elastic/slider? Do you not even know how to use the weld tool? Also, the bulletholes are a dead giveaway. Seriously, at least put 20 seconds of effort into it and wire a timing circuit so that it wouldn't riddle the entire elevator box with unnecessary bullets. This is just sad.
