Alright, I put almost everything I've got into this, so I wanted to post it here as well. I have never worked harder on a video than on this one. I really hope you guys enjoy it.

Hours well spent, my good sir. Artistic for you.
That was fucking awesome and it's a damn shame that machinimas don't get attention unless they're fairly long.

Or if they're made by me, lol. Thanks for the comments.
Very nice ,
Well made
Awesome addition to your other movies :)
Amazing.
Beautiful.... No other words to explain that.. Art Pallet for you :3
Thanks. The original idea for this was much more "2001"-like, including the same music and the air toss transition, but I ultimately ended up making it it's own thing.
This is great, really well made. Some of the sounds were a bit off, but other then that it was great.
Fucking awesome.
However I will be my critical self and give you a few pointers as well. Please do not be discouraged by this, as I loved the video, I'm only trying to be helpful :)
---The shaky cam, although a lot of you dislike my own, looked sort of unnatural in most of the times you used it. I'm assuming you're using Vegas, so I'd say, use the "Smooth" option instead of "Linear" next time and see how that works out. Also, sometimes the shaky cam became too intense and the amount of foliage on screen only added to the difficulty to see the subject. This only happened twice or three times, however.
---The black edges on the corners of the screen were strange. If this is your preference to film the movies like this, because I remember you using it on your previous film, I respect that, it just looks as if it's being filmed through some kind of odd lens to me. Only my opinion though.
I'd also like to point out the excellent use of focusing effects, objects in the foreground appeared blurry, and I wish to God I could do something like that. Not enough patience, lol.
Again, beautiful work. In Soviet Russia, Artistic earns YOU!
Yeah, about the shaky cam. The truth behind that really has to do with the fact that much of the movie was poses, so if I hadn't use some type of kinetic movement in the camera, you might have laughed at how dull it looked. Though next time, I will shake less, lol.
Personally, I like the lens look for some reason, it's not realistic, but it just looks nice/different in my opinion.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.

Like I said, try the "Smooth" thing, instead of Linear. Never tried it myself, but smooth and quick shaking might look better. And watch the copy-pasting, at one point i could see it was going back and forth, like diagonal up diagonal down diagonal up diagonal down. Still, good :)

Hm, never knew there was a smooth option, I'll definitely look into that, thanks.

Oh my. I loved this. Very nice work. Have an artistic.
Hey guys, my video just got in the top 5 for the "best use of dynamite" contest. If you like this one the most, you can now vote for it!
EDIT: Never mind.
Dude please go on and do more videos.
Thats the first Serious Garrys Mod Video ive enjoied.
Thanks. I might make more movies, but I'm seriously reconsidering the types of movies I'm going to make. This type just doesn't seem to get much attention.
Dont do funny stuff :(
Keep this serious please.
You're right, but I'm afraid I'll dedicate so much time to something so (hopefully) cool and awesome, but it will barely get attention, and I might have spent so much time, only for such a little response.
Lol honestly, I think I die a little inside when I see a video of someone tossing gman ragdolls across construct, and that video has like 15,000 views.
I agree.
This video should be in top 10.

Well considering the majority of the gmod community are morons who prefer a gimmick consisting of thruster infested ragdolls and cheap slap-stick jokes. I wouldn't give a damn if they saw my videos or even liked them, and i don't think you should care either. Your videos are great, there is no need for you to do something else.
Really nice.
You can see that you put so much effort into this.
Best video I've seen in a while. Fantastic work!

Listen, don't go by what other people think of your shit. go by whatever you want to do, that's all that matters.
Actually, the competition gave me what I wanted really, the video got a few thousand views in two days. I'll think I'll just aim at making bigger and better movies.
