C&C as usual.
Looks pretty good-it'd make a good main menu picture for [insert name of apocalyptic game here].

It lacks a skybox. Any way to fix that?
Looks pretty sweet. The sky doesn't really need anymore details if you ask me. But some clouds edited in or something might not look bad if you did it right. However as the view approaches the back there's less and less to look at. Adding some more buildings behind the ones you already have would have helped with that by creating depth. Behind the current buildings, it seems as if there is nothing.
Anyways, good stuff. Keep it up.
Covering nearly half the screen with grass is a neat trick. But doesn't look cool in a scenebuild. Because it's a scenebuild and you've covered nearly half the screen with grass. The sandbags also kinda look out of place. You could explain it with something convenient like "but there's a military installation just behind it!" but we'd never know, because we only know what we see. So, there's just some sandbags there. Unless there's a pointer there, like a military vehicle, few dead soldiers, a sign perhaps etc.
The background is lacking. But not because there's no stuff in there. I myself hate it when someone calls a background "almost empty" just because it doesn't happen to have a whole megacity as a backdrop.
But the buildings look almost like they're in a straight line and the sky behind them is empty as in, it's untouched, there's nothing there, it looks like a big one colored wall.
It all works itself out once you get how forced perspective works.
Now, correct me if I'm wrong but I think this a good example how it works.
I made it a while ago while experimenting in gm_construct.
Yes, it's only about ten meters ingame but looks like kilometers in a picture.

That's really as far as I could put and cram them in one picture. I made this on gm_shambles_day at the very end of the map where the tunnel/sewer entrance or (exit) is. If I tried to push them back any further they would simply disappear. I couldn't find the skybox area of the map because the fog in the map is so thick.

Well, next time choose a empty flat map.
