So yeah, I've been hording lots (500MB) of reference pictures, since I use 'em a lot, and decided to share 'em. They're all sorted pretty practically, common sense stuff. Some are contraptions, some are reallife stuff, some are models, etc.
The folder layout:

L Suspensions -- Closeups and stuff of suspensions.
L Engines ------ Some engines to model off of.
L Drivetrains --- Stuff like frames, joints, transmissions, etc.
L Misc --------- Miscellaneous shit.
[B]Posters [/B]-------- Posters.
[B]Misc[/B] ----------- Miscellaneous shit.
[B]Logistics [/B]------- All your trucks, your 4x4s, ATVs, trains, etc.
L Trucks ------- From your M548s and LR Forward Controls to your Macks.
L Utility -------- Jeeps, kubelwagens, kettenkrads, ATVs, FJ40s, etc.
L Details ------- A few closeups.
L Misc --------- Trains, trailers, anything else of the sort.
[B]Support [/B]-------- Anything armored that isn't a tank
L Antiaircraft --- AA guns, SAMs, etc.
L Misc --------- Miscellaneous shit.
L Details ------- Details.
L Antitank ----- Dedicated antitank weapons.
L Armored ------ Armored support vehicles like BMPs, armored cars, APCs, etc.
L Movers ------- Artillery tractors, your WW2 unarmored german halftracks, etc.
L Artillery ------ Artillery guns, SPGs, Katyushas, etc.
[B]Armor[/B] --------- Yay tanks.
L Parts -------- Parts of tanks.
L Modern ------ Modern tanks. Cold war on, in general.
L Obsolete ----- Old tanks, like WW2 and WW1.
[B]Air [/B]------------- Flying things
L Planes ------- Plains.
L Helis & Vtols -- Helicopters, blimps, tiltrotors, etc.
L Details ------- Parts, like cockpits and such.

Saved me a shitload of time searching through google. Lots of juicy stuff to get my contraptionation going. Download was 2mb/s which for me is fast.

Wow, i'm honored to see my "Tatkosh" (Oshkosh HEMTT on a Tatra suspension) in this pack too, together with the other masterpieces of gmod-engines, trucks an so on.
But I have to say: This pack is a MUST for every GMod-Builder, it holds loads of usefull pic's. 2.219 in total.

why? it's nice to see how other people have used different props and so on.
There's even some pictures of my failed truck...
Looking through these, I never could understand why people insisted on using those damned handled paint cans for rounded areas. Annoys the piss out of me to see those handles ruining find bodywork.
because they're short and generally just the right thickness
But what about the PHX Specialized Construction rounds? They're nearly the same shape and size, yet they don't have that nasty handle.

the way textures stretch on them is horrible.
