Scenebuild on gm_black as usual, figured it was time I get away from the military/action poses and back to peaceful stuff.

Awesome work, where did you get the roads.
Great job man. How do you get lighting to be so smooth? I use lights for ambience, but always end up having brighter and darker areas.

Yeah, PHX. Everything in that scene is stock Garry's Mod except for the guy in the suit, some of the grass, and the mountain in the background.
As for the ambient lighting, I use lights with low brightness/high radius above and below the scene.
So do you just set the radius ridiculously high?

Idk if it's just me, but it looks like there is a discrepancy with the concrete barriers above the fellow in the suit.

Yes. I also use a lot of them, usually in a grid of like 4 on top, 4 below. You have to keep the brightness VERY low though. It takes a lot of tweaking.
Did you use any lamps? If you did, the placement is flawless. Whenever I use lamps its icky.

So many lamps that source hit some kind of shadow limit, I couldn't use any more :v:
And Kommunist, I didn't do any stitching. The only editing in this picture is by way of CC and "atmosphere" added with a z-pass and some smoke stock images.
