Fire for me is one of the hardest elements to photoshop. And that's why it looks like shit.
The picture is named after the song "Watch the world burn" that is on TDK soundtrack, which I mostly listened to while doing this.

When I opened the thread, I was wowed by all the colors.
But after looking at it for a while, I realize the effects are pretty bad and low-res, the contrast is too high and a lot of edges are really blurred for some reason.
I didn't know there was a standard level for contrast in facepunch for gmod pictures which you are not supposed to cross, or the world will implode and we will all die painfully.
It's not that serious, it's only Garry's mod.
The line is around when it starts looking awful.

Just like in this case, you're word is not the absolute.
colors look pretty nice, but the burning building's fire looks dull and lacks texture

Sorry, but I don't see how this could get 4 artistics. It looks like a bunch of filter rape, personally.
That fire looks ugly and everything is bloomy, a shame since everything else is fine.
It's rather sketchy but the atmosphere is nice.
Er, am I the only one confused by the bloody, metallic object jutting out of the frontmost combine's chest? I THINK it might be a sword, but I can't see a handle.

I think it's mostly the problem with computer monitors.
I have a laptop with hd lcd, and the whole contrast thing depends highly of in which position the sreen is.
