First off I'd like to say that if this is wrongfully-placed, I apologize. I couldn't find another forum that I thought would be more suiting.
And I'm also sorry if I should have put the tutorial icon on here instead. I thought that was for people who had a tutorial they wanted to share.
Alright, based on the title you probably know what I'm about to ask. I'm wanting to learn Garry's Mod Machinima tricks. I can't seem to find other sites that are as devoted to things on this nature, so I decided to go here. Most people on Machinima.com or VirtualFlicks.net will only help you if you want to learn the Source SDK. I would try to learn it, but faceposer doesn't work on Windows 7, so this is my alternative.
Anyway (enough rambling), I've been watching some popular Garry's Mod Machinimators like USAFMike, Dizztah, and all those. Nearly everytime I watch their videos, I wonder how they do certain things in Garry's Mod.
One thing I wonder is how they get their ragdolls' mouths to actually move in sync with what they're saying, as seen in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5ZsdEo-zsU
I already have and know how to use GCFScape of course to get their audio, but I have no clue how to get them to sync with it.
That's only one of my main questions I can think of.
Any other general tips to Garry's Mod Machinima are highly appreciated. I'm just looking for a different engine to make shorts with.
Anything you consider that might be helpful to me at all I'm willing to listen to.
Thanks.

I'll admit it's not quite what I wanted to hear, but I've heard a lot of things in a good GMod Machinima aren't easy.
Anyone else care to share any other information?
I'm not much of an machinmatist, but this is some good info:
1. Make sure that HUD NEVER-EVER is shown unless it is an gameplay film. There are add-ons to do this (CinemaHelper, for example) and console codes (cl_drawhud 1 to enable it and cl_drawhud 0 to disable it).
2. If just possible, include voice acting. Subtitles only may make your movie seem boring.
3. Don't try to be over-funny. Aim for originality, yet few exceptions are allowed.
4. Incase you make it more like serious than comedic, try to keep it serious. If you really want to add hiumor to a serious movie, keep it in dialog.
5. Before you publish your video to the world, let your movie rest for a week or two without watching. Then watch it again, and you may spot some sort of mistakes.
6. Unless it needs to be in gm_construct, DO NOT USE IT. Some movie-makers actually build their own maps!
7. Do not use someone elses content without their permission. You might get seriosuly flamed if you copy something like War Of The Servers.
Well, those are some criterias I use. You might find them useful, too.
For the movements that aren't pre made in some script, one trick is to make the psychic beam invisible, set up a camera and work the ragdoll outside the cam view. Another trick is to lock certain body parts and keep others free and yank them to get the desired movement.
Just like I did here. Go to 2:00 in the video to see how I made this ragdoll dance. Bullet time is also applied.

I try not to use things i see from movies or tv shows due to strict copyright laws. Oh i like to use cs: office for my upcoming video CSS players day off

Thanks for the tips.
I'm already very familiar with general Machinima production, as in scriptwriting, voice acting, editing, and all that.
I was more-or-less looking for ways to utilize Garry's Mod as a tool.
I made this video a long time ago just to be messing around: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrL83Pn7XO0
It's very short and I don't like it that much. Most of it was (of course) on a green screen map.
Thanks. I'll remember your tips, though when/if I make another GMod video.
