After watching the trailer acouple of times, i decided "why not re-create the apartment?" and i did.
Looks pretty awful if you ask me, but I don't think that's your fault. Might be the HL2 props and lack of lighting.
We should get a comparison to the trailer. Link to the trailer or take a picture and show it.
Yeah I agree with Lebowski here... I don't recall an apartment in any detail.
Added the trailer.
It's nothing alike except for props.
Okay, your prop choice and placement is pretty good considering the few seconds we saw the swaying apartment, but unfortunately the walls and surroundings don't really match up.
The only similiarity I see is the furniture.
How would you guys do it then?
That's the best i could do. It isn't a disco ball, it's a ceiling lamp for GTA IV.
it's a disco ballish lamp.
Oh my, it's a scene build? I guess it wouldn't have been that obvious without the title. The lamp only looks like a disco ball because of the square-ish weird shadow thingies. But it doesn't help that there's no light coming out. (I have those round paper ceiling lamps all around my home.) Btw. Is that train car an existing HL2 one? I could swear I haven't noticed.
It's the train that you start in both EP2 and HL2.
Yeah, I know. Just haven't ever actually located it. And I noticed it just yesterday when I used the level 1 for a shot.
