So, I used to play gmod all the time and I made a lot of dumb posings I never shared because they weren't all that great and I'm just now getting into putting effort in after two years of posing, and I even have a copy of photoshop to make things nice with but I never use it for that...no idea why, comments are appreciated, anyway, on with the posings!
Here's one of the first and only TF2 related posings I will ever do because I'm not a fan of TF2.

The "This would've been better if it wasn't 3 in the morning" posing.

The "I'm too lazy to think of names" posings.

And the grand finale, a posing that I thought was really good for someone like me.

I just know that by the time I post this, I'll realize that this isn't how the images work and I'll be confused on how to use them.
Oh wait, I did it right! -Fanfare plays-
Feel free to give me some friendly criticism (Examples are: wow ur gay faggola)
wow ur gay faggola
I figure you don't know what that would translate into English (as it's a response used by those speaking the tongue of, "Complete and Utter Cuntish"), so I'll do my best to interpret:
You've got potential. But it is simply by a present will that makes that comment, even still, vague.
You have the basic skills down, so it's really a situation of just evolving.
A really big part of screenshots is composition.
It's an awesome thing when you can focus on the whole image, action in every corner.
Probably in our sticky thread you will find reference to the Rule of Thirds. Commotion that is centered will grab attention, but commotion that contrasts or flows with two or three other things will hold it.
The Rule of Thirds is summarised, by aligning the focuses of your picture along two equally spaced lines, both vertical and horizontal, you'll capture more attention as the subjects will bring a contrast to them. In your fifth image there is a lot of wasted space. Condense it down or add to it; you could have thrown some more bodies in the foreground, or maybe some sort of checkpoint gear, general props though, some clutter; you also could have cut off the top third of the image, nothing is happening and there's no reason to add things up there because it's already out of the action.
Camera angle also seems to be a crutch; in your second image, if you had rotated our view to the left, so that the kneeling soldier was on our left side, his dying friend on the right, and the corpse in the back and middle, the image would have been made five times better.
Currently to up the quality of your posing, you need to start referencing to that of actual poses done by man and think about where your posing them in relation to the world and each other.
Spend that extra minute to get that soldier's knee (Image 2, Kneeling Soldier) properly aligned with his shin. Add a few seconds to bring up his horizontal shin from the ground so his foot is not broken at the ankle. After you spend that extra time to make it perfect, the repetition of these basic poses will become familiar enough that it's no longer an extra minute, but thirty seconds faster.
And after you perfect your posing, take a look at the last screenshot you have posted: If you had brought our camera angle down and to the right, switched sides with the leaping Space Marine (rotating his upper body and giving the power sword more of an angle up and to the center, so it's aimed at the Ultramarine) and the Ultramarine, made the Space Marine in back sort of stop and give a hesitation so he might witness a glorious victory, give the Ultramarine a panic burst just barely missing his mark, the image would have been damn near perfect (that's false vanity).
And also max out your graphics, they're shitty and terrible.
And use jpeg_140 if not dev_screenshot or poster # (the latter being experimental, I think).
And, of course I could have simply left this gem. It has all sorts of tutorials (maybe a few resources too) for you to utilise.
Glad I could be of service to you.

Edit:
And before you make excuses about graphics and frame rate, headshotter (weiner, blixblix, frenchie, frogeater, etc.) does it and created some amazing stuff. You don't need to pose in max, simply render.
