I think it looks beautiful man. Love the desaturated dark feeling and the lighting, good job!
Here's the problem, my eyes are all over the place, it's somehow hard to concentrate. I think what you should have done is applied super dof to blur various parts to concentrate on the old friend and the soldier on the right. I would also move/remove the cut down tree that is distorting my eyes as i try to concentrate on the pistol of the guy on the left. The posing and concept is great an all, but, i never thought i'd say this, the environment has too many props which actually creates some degree of distraction.
