I like this, so to any extent of what it means from a rookie like me, I say, good job.
The lighting looks very snazzy. There's something about the laser that seems a tiny bit off, though. Too opaque, maybe?

Yeah I have always been bad at making lasers, but I still included it to show it's a turret. I couldn't find any models of an open turret so offscreen is what I'm left with..
The laser needs more white in the center. Other than that, nice job.
as a tip for lasers, you can try very slightly erasing it in parts with a cloud brush of sorts. do it randomly and erratically and it makes it look a little less like a perfect straight line

I wish some of the shadows wouldnt be so rough. soft shadows wouldve made this picture even better.
You should use some blending modes man. The laser and the tracers look too... solid. They overlap stuff weirdly.
