Okay, I'm getting into extreme posing (if that's possible) and was wondering how to use fog to my advantage. Any tips?
Define ~EXTREME POSING~ please.
Fog's useful if you want to make things look darker, colder, or obviously foggy. For example:

If you're going to use fog where there's a skybox visible, use something large to obscure the skybox to make the fog look like it should be, as skyboxes aren't affected by fog:

Just experiment with fog and hopefully you'll get an result you'll like.
By "Extreme Posing" I mean like, really cool-looking pictures. Also, usually whenever I use "Fog override", it looks just plain ugly. And when I don't use Fog Override, no fog shows up at all.
Practice, experimentation and experience. Oh and a bit of talent.
That's all it takes really, but all that stuff could take years.

Fog will only show up on a map if there is a env_fog_controller. So It wont always work on some maps.
As for making it look good, get a large phx plate to cover up the background (kind of like a greenscreen) and use the material tool using the "mat/debugWhite" texture (which will make it completely white)Then when you use the fog, it will actually look like fog.
Hope that helps.
What category would the PHX plate be under?
