This picture turned out about 1000% spookier than originally intended. I was going for "monster under the bed" and instead got "otherworldly skeleton horror."
The color correction really made it I think. All the shadows are desaturated, while reds and highlights are over saturated.
I personally think that the spinning chair should have stronger white lightning. If you look at the kid, he's standing further away and yet the lightning cast on him is so much stronger in comparison to the chair.

I hadn't considered that. The kid has his own separate lamp in order to make him stand out a bit, but you're right that it doesn't make much sense when you think about it.
