Looks great [editline]07:52PM[/editline] The weapon is too dark though
[QUOTE=JurajIsNotPirat;23992600]Looks great [editline]07:52PM[/editline] The weapon is too dark though[/QUOTE] I noticed that when I tweaked the curves. If I didn't do that the white would flush it out and it would look like a plastic toy gun. Think of it that since he has his back to the light, the gun is shrouded by the shadow of his body.
The lighting looks nice.
Nice lighting and set up. I think the stock of the gun should be covered up by his arm, but it's not something that really affects the picture.
I like the original much more than the edited version. If I did have to nitpick about something I'd probably choose the weapon, you could've went with an AR2 in order to keep it as "combine" esque as possible.

I gotta' agree that I like the original more.
Thanks for all the replies. My half-life 2 weapons folder is gone and I don't want to reinstall Gmod or look through the directory. Also if anyone noticed (I just did) that the hand on that is grasping the trigger grip is not holding it. They combine fingerposing is horrible... For my lighting I spawned a lamp with the color of a sunset and placed it just outside the shot. It was already light out so you can't see it but there is a tiny difference that makes it look better.
Why reinstall when you can just validate through steam?
If you have GCFScape, you can just extract the models/weapons and materials/models/weapons folders from your "source materials.gcf" or "hl2 materials.gcf" file located in your "program files/steam/steamapps" same as you would extract a file from a .zip Alternatively you can insert the disk and try to repair the installation, don't know if that works, um...that's all I got.
That is one tricked out G36. I think he would have been better with an AR2 but it still is nice.
