Hello everyone, I am new to the forums and gmod. Since I am not very good with gmod (I just got it), I am looking for someone to make a video for a team fortress 2 scout song I just finished. (FYI: it's NOT a bonk! song) if anyone is interested, please send me a pm.
what makes a gmodder good
Uses gmod a lot I guess and is fairly good at using it.
I don't know what makes a gmodder good but I do know for sure that I am not a good one if you understand what I mean.
edit: do you use gmod to make videos?
are you confident enough in using gmod to make videos?
I don't know if it makes you a good one but that's what I'm looking for.
We're all evil people. I wouldn't recall any gmodder good from what i've seen on here.
So a video you say? I'd love to help but one of my processors popped while powering up so I can only play flash games on low settings without getting lag...
here is an example of how I'd like the video to be:

even if most of it is not truly animated (more like static images) the overall result is fairly good.

You can do it with single frame screenshots as well. Its not hard infact you get best quality from single frame cause recording with something like fraps will just hit your fps hard.

Hell you can even do it with source SDK's faceposer...
I don't know where even begin.
That video is made inside a bowling map with the heavy playing bowling I don't know if/how you can achieve the same results with a different program.
Also, I don't know how the video should be. I just made the song.. I thought some one good at making videos would have had a listen at it and imagined a possible video fit for it.
If you are even half interested I could send you a bad quality audio file through z-share or other crappy and fast delivery internet system, just to quickly see if you like the song and want to have some fun making a video for it.

for some reason, youtube's quality is crappier than usual.
Well, you don't have to make video to become the gmoder, you can also make a picture to become the gmoder like i did over 130 pic back in spowell.org.
It looks like were being nice to the new guy.

Just find a different song.

Something better.[/QUOTE]
What do you mean by "find a different song" I made the song, I did not "find" it.
You don't like it?
I misread the title as "Looking for a good mother" :v:
How about a single picture of the scout in a "dancing to classical music" position?
I have been trying to make him look like he's dancing classical music but still am unable to achieve convincing results.
For some reason, the ragdoll posing tool wouldn't allow me to put the scout's arms above of his head.
