Hey all. Me again with another picture, this time it's a little different however. I personally think my other pictures are much better, but I'll let you guys judge that. Original: Taken with jpeg quality 140 and 1440x900 resolution. Made with Photoshop CS5 Extended. I used no references for the water, all hand made. C&C please. Edit: Oh yeah and in case your wondering the submarine model is from the HL2 Beta.
I love underwater photos.
I love underwater photos.
Glad you like it.
That's rather original and well executed. Good job!
Oh wow. Lighting could be a little more... well, underwater-ish, but it's pretty nice as it is. Original as well, which is always a huge plus.
lightings good. jsut need to work a bit more on the sand
That's rather original and well executed. Good job!
Thanks!
isolation is a bit dodgy, but i like it. good job.
Totally love it, except the smoke on the bottom
lightings good. jsut need to work a bit more on the sand
Thanks, First time trying to blend in textures. [editline]11:04AM[/editline]
isolation is a bit dodgy, but i like it. good job.
Yeah was quite hard to get rid of most of the green screen, I tried using gimp's colour to alpha but it didn't work properly. [editline]11:06AM[/editline]
Totally love it, except the smoke on the bottom
Thank you, Tried blending the sand so it was up the objects, didn't work out too great so it looks like smoke. try to use the pen tool to remove it manually.
try to use the pen tool to remove it manually.
If I do another green screen picture then I'll make sure I do, thanks for the tip.
np mate. if you start shading later, make sure you isolate with the pen tool also.
np mate. if you start shading later, make sure you isolate with the pen tool also.
I've done shading before, I isolate with the polygon lasso tool in Photoshop. I didn't Lasso the sub because its quite hard to see the selection lines on a green screen. [editline]12:18PM[/editline] Any more comments?
The sand bothers me, it looks like it just hit the bottom. Other than that it is fantastic. Have a Bob Ross Paint Shield.

I think the coral looks a bit dodgy. Too bright to be underwater.
Nice work... probably one of the least Gmod-involved pictures I've ever seen though.
Haha I know that underwater tutorial. Nice job!
