Good question.
It really depends on how big the scene is, normally posing something like this can take about half an hour. Something bigger can take an hour plus.
Editing well took me half an hour just fiddling with the ingame shiznit.
With photoshop It takes a good hour to get the right result.
Overall this took me about an hour.
Spend more time on it.

Doesn't Mr. Numbers use in-game sharpen? I know I have in a few of my poses.

It must be very subtle, because I've never noticed it. Sharpen tends to be pretty obvious, though.
