So this is the first comic that I have made in GIMP however I am not new to editing screenshots or Facepunch. The only reason I made this comic is so that I could post it here and get some C&C. Any help would be greatly Appreciated so here is the comic: [IMG_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Comictest.jpg[/IMG_thumb] URL link: http://filesmelt.com/dl/Comictest.jpg Part 2: [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/comictest2.jpg[/img_thumb] http://filesmelt.com/dl/comictest2.jpg

Well it was alright. But I don't really think that the combine would ask politely to search a house. They would simply do it, no matter what.
thats pretty awesome man but what is this GIMP thing?
It's a free image manipulation program which uses Open source if I'm not mistaken. In most respects it's a lot by photoshop but with a few differences, mostly in the functions and User Interface. I personally prefer Photoshop, but you can get pretty much the same results in either program.
Not bad sir, not bad.
Thanks for all the feedback guys. So I made this comic simply to see how it would turn out, not to create a series. Which means I will only continue it for as long as I need to, that is, when I master the basics of comic making. With that being said does anyone have a link to a speech bubble tutorial? That is, if you think a comic like this would need them. Personally I think they take some of the "seriousness" of the comic but I want to know what you think. Thanks again!
I would't say that speechbubbles take some of the comics "seriousness" away. Just take some real comics for example (Batman, Sin City etc.). Most of these are all pretty dark and serious even with speechbubbles. As for the tutorial on how to make a speechbubble: http://www.pstut.com/tutorial-speech-bubble.html You don't have to do every step in this tut because for me, some of these steps seem more obsolete. Just experiment around with it a lil.
I like it, nice posing and story. I lol'd at the part "3... 2... 1- Can I help you with something?".

Ok heres part two with speech bubbles :v: [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/comictest2.jpg[/img_thumb] http://filesmelt.com/dl/comictest2.jpg Decent?
You should practice your speech bubbles until you're happy with them. Part 2 sort of threw me off.
