It is a nice concept but the ugly rimlights and the odd glow on the face really distract from it

Quickly edited the face glow so it looks better and less distracting.

It's a bit better, still can't say it's more than a mediocre slap-on thing

You should study rimlight, cuz you don't know how it works. Also pic is kinda wierd, Is he putting his hand inside the guys foot?

It's hard to tell where the fist is try to contrast it a bit more from the leg.

Rim light looks more like a white line. Odd filter and posing seem a bit confusing.

I think it look fine. Maybe try blending it as much as possible to it though. But overall it looks great.

I can see what style you're trying to go for and it has worked. The rimlighting is a tad too much but it works. oh and HIS EAR. IT IS BAD.

I'd imagine he didn't mean it was purely those things, he was simply speaking figuratively to show just how much they dominate the image. They do. The rimlighting is way overdone and the rain is lacking in depth. It's a shame, because I really like the colours of the picture and the mood they set.

I like it, can't really say much more.

I liked your L4D stuff more.
