"Sup gman, how yo-*pow*"
Ugh, the posing on gman is absolutely horrible. He looks like he's got a 2x4 glued to his back he's so stiff and unnatural. Seriously, just look at yourself in a mirror. Look at how you stand. You don't stand perfectly straight and with perfect distribution of weight. Shit, even if you're intentionally trying to you still don't.
Eli's posing's good. I don't see any problems aside for a lot of clipping, but maaaaan those effects look puny. Seriously. Atleast you got the timespan right enough, instead of having him recoiling or going limp from being shot before the damn muzzle flash dissipates and the casing hits the ground like what most people do.
Well, I wasnt posing it :)
Zeraxify did
But thanks for the C&C on the editing
Hmmm other than what loen said you could add shadows in the background. Also the sliding is not realistic(but since everybody ignores that i'll just move on).
What do you mean 'the sliding'?
If you mean the slide on the 1911, that's entirely realistic, it does that every time it's fired. That's how the weapon chambers the next round and cocks itself.
If you mean Eli slumping in his seat rather than flying into the wall, that's entirely realistic too. Bullets don't throw people across the room, at most they'll snap their head (for a headshot) back a bit and then the body will just go limp.
They only weigh a few grams, it's not like you're throwing semitrailers at people when you shoot them.
Thats a desert eagle :v:.
What is this? The gun nut club?
The NGA?

Also, I only edited the color controls, the muzzfleflash and the bullet heading through the head. Everything else was untouched. It was basically my first try at this and i was wondering what you would think
No i mean when you fire a weapon, the muzzleflash appears and after it dissapears then the weapon slides ejecting the chambered cassing.

Also note that there is not even recoil.
I'd imagine he probably did it for dramatic effect; if I really wanted to nitpick about realism, the muzzleflash looks nothing like an actual muzzleflash and half the time you don't see it anyway.
Also a 1911 is internally different from a Penis Compensa- I mean, Desert Eagle in a lot of ways. They aren't as similar as you think.
Not saying your picture sucks rapist santa it's actually better than mine, but it could be a lot more realistic if the muzzle flash was far from the barrel.
Hey, that's why I did this, to get criticism
Also, am i the only guy that rated artistic ? Seriously ?
The fact that at least you rated me artistic makes it all worth while <3
Zeraxify might have posted his version of the pic once.
I feel like I've already seen this pic. I don't know why.
[editline]04:31AM[/editline]
I'm getting serious deja vu.
Not because of what happened in EP2 though.
What the hell.. I remember it too, I just can't get my grasp on what it was.
yeah, i posted my version. dunno why, the posing is terrible :P

1911 slowmo skip to 0:20
No, it's slow motion :psyduck:
The internal workings are considerably different, the recoil handles differently, the pistol itself handles differently, the round is completely different, etc., etc.
Anyway, if you look, you can see that the gun, muzzle flash, bullet wound, and blood dont match up correctly.
[editline]09:03AM[/editline]
The gun is aiming towards inbetween eli's eyes and nose, the muzzle flash is aimed at his eyebrows, the bullet wound is in the forhead, the blood aims like the bullet came at the same level, which it didnt, and is also not in line with the bullet wound.
I was mainly focusing to get at least something remotely accurate since this was my first try. I didn't know how it would turn out and IMO it turned out pretty good. After that of course comes taking all the criticism into account that you provided C:
