What?
Unsure what this really do
Unsure what this really do
Takes color from one picture, applies it to other picture.
Does that really need a tutorial?
I mean anyone can click color replacement and recolor it. :|
This tutorial confuses me, not because I don't understand it but why you thought this would be useful information for everyone?
I'm not being mean, or not trying to at least, but could you explain why this would be helpful? (opposed to... easier methods of colour changing).

I kindly ask you to achieve the same effect as I did in less than 35 seconds.

Would you try to mimic my result please?
Why?
My way is simplistic as yours but its a alternative way of doing it.
I ain't going to waste more time when I can do 2 easy steps.

Just... Take the picture of the brick wall and try to achieve a result similar to mine and post it. That's all I'm asking.

Unfortunately I do not see why people would rather not learn a new technique. I guess it's your call in the end. I'm merely trying to help expand your options. Isn't that what makes Photoshop grand? Having a target and having numerous routes to reaching it?

I'm sorry, but they are nothing alike. Your technique replaces all the colors with a brownishly-grayish sludge, while mine retains the saturation and luminance of the original picture.

Can you demonstrate this technique on a garry's mod picture

This.
Can you demonstrate this technique on a garry's mod picture
Yes of course. Forgive the fact that I am using my own images, it's just that I have them isolated and ready to go, which makes it easier for me to select the sector to which to apply the Match Color function.

Was I suppose to make it look like yours?
I made it the way I wanted it :o

Oh now I see what it does.
Instead of one whole color it uses variety of mixed colors.
So instead of spending 3 minutes on a wall mixing the colors, you can use this easy tool that photoshop provides.
I wanted another duck...
This does seem useful at times but on rare occasions (at least with what I work with.)
